So I just tried to make a blues track....straight blues. I sing on this more than I've ever sung on anything before, so take it easy on me. I'm trying! Anyway, enjoy.

Party at the Fire Station
So, last evening was the Global Annual Reddit Meetup, where thousands of Redditors in every major city across the world meet, socialize, drink, and party. Naturally I attended the Paris "Chapter", and it was an absolutely lovely night! At least 40-50 people showed up, some American, some Parisian, some English, and some Australian - a diverse crowd all connected by the power of the internet. The true fun started, however, when the fire station we were partying next to invited us (yes, internerds) up to party with them! Let me just say that again...FIRE FIGHTERS....invited us up to the FIRE STATION to party with them. What the fuck? This would never happen in the States. Anyway, we spent the rest of the night drinking and having a blast with the firefighters. Oh, Parisians - how lightly you take your work.
All in all, a great success. And the firefighters have a hell of a view up there.

C'est Malheureux Qu'il Pleut
Yesterday, I had the unadulterated pleasure of meeting Ilan Kidron, my cousin-in-law and an all around extreme badass. Straight bistro-chillaxing here in the rain. This is what Paris should be!
I am so excited for this I CANNOT EVEN CONTAIN IT!!
Two. Not one. No, folks, TWO new trailers for Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming film The Master, starring Joaquin Pheonix and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Both beautifully done, and a fucking gorgeous peek at Johnny Greenwood's scoring work as well!! If Scarlett Johansson laid her bare chest on my face right now I wouldn't be as excited as I am for this. Dig it:

OH MY GOD IT'S REAL
So, after regrettably finishing my duty-free-bought-on-the-airplane-cheap-as-fuck carton of delicious Marlboro Reds, it was finally time to buy my first pack in Paris. What I saw when I was handed the little red box surprised and astounded me. Yes, folks, it's real. And no, you can't take it off with the cellophane...it's on there for good. Ugh, disgusting.
But this cigarette is fantastic.

Freaks in Love
My cousin and her husband Ilan are Freaks in Love - an absolutely delightful act that's been touring Paris, Sydney, and soon the REST OF THE WORLD I'm sure! Dig them, because they deserve to be dug.

Happy Father's Day!
The man you are looking at is my father, Gilbert Rebillet. He has been 50% responsible for turning me into the strange and insane person that I am today. And I can't thank him enough for that. Papa, you are the best father a son could ever ask for, and I am so grateful everyday to have a role model like you to look up to. You have done so much with your time here (including raising a pretty decent son), and I can't hope to achieve half of what you have in my lifetime. I hope you have an absolutely wonderful Father's Day in Dallas, and I'm sending you all of my love from Paris!!
Gros bisous, Papa.

A Lynchian Evening
Last night my lovely cousin Samantha Rebillet and I had an absolutely sublime evening at Club Silencio, David Lynch's nightlife endeavor here in Paris. The place is indescribably beautiful, the soundtrack is a melange of Motown and Daft Punk, and last night the dance floor was ON FIRE. The coolest part? We inadvertently cabbed it over there with the owner/proprietor of the joint, Arnaud Fisch...insta-VIP.
They don't allow photos to be taken in the club, but we did manage to snap one:
Silencio, motherfuckers.

Whatcha Gonna Do?
Here's another song I just made using only me and my desk. Hope you all dig this sheezy.

Everytime
Hey guys, so...all my equipment I use to make music is still back in Dallas. But I really need to make some sounds, so I decided to use my mouth. Enjoy.

In case you can't read the total on the receipt there...that's 6.84 Euros. SIX EUROS AND EIGHTY-FOUR CENTIMES for three bottles of Brut and a thing of OJ. Paris' best deal? I think you're looking at it.
Oh, and you know what else? This shit ain't Andre. It's actually pretty damned delicious.
Chin-Chin.
